Biography:
Christopher Koroneos is a chemical engineer. He did all his studies at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Columbia University in New York, USA, where he later was a professor and continues to be associated with the Earth Engineering Center as a Research Associate. Now he is Associate Professor having the chair of Renewable Energy and Energy Management at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia in Greece. He is also at the Unit of Environmental Science and Technology of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. He is teaching at the Interdisciplinary Programme of Post Graduate Studies ‘‘Environment & Development’’ of the National Technical University of Athens. His research interests are in Renewable Energy, Exergy Analysis, Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainable Development. He has more than 90 publications in Scientific Journals and more than 220 publications in proceedings of International conferences. He is in the editorial committee of 35 scientific journals, and he has participated in 37 national and international research projects.
